 SES Hub Construction Kicks off!

A new Victoria State Emergency Services (VICSES) hub is underway – delivering essential emergency response services for our community.

Victoria State Emergency Services (VICSES) base

We are delighted to share another exciting chapter of construction commencing here at Woodlea, with a new Victoria State Emergency Services (VICSES) hub underway. The hub is being funded by the Victorian Government and delivered by the Community Safety Building Authority (CSBA).

Rest assured that help will always be close by as the new SES Hub will deliver essential emergency response services, paving the way to ensure the safety and security of our residents and those in surrounding suburbs.

About the SES Hub

The new fit-for-purpose facility will include a large training and meeting area,  six motor vehicle bays, state-of-the-art communications facilities, offices and more.

Built on a 4800 square metre site, and right across our destinational Frontier Park playground here in Woodlea, this strategic location will allow locally-based volunteers to respond efficiently to requests for assistance, and support the great work of the VICSES Melton Unit.

Delivering on Emergency Services

The CSBA will ensure the efficient, effective, timely and transparent delivery of the new unit to support emergency services in the critical work they do in protecting the Aintree community and surrounding areas.
