Littlewood Pop Kitchen Wrap-up

A Spanish fiesta? Spectacular. Easter extravaganzas and epic cake displays? Legendary. Tossing spaghetti around a 40-kilo wheel of grana padano in a four cheese blend? Count us in.

Big Flavour. True Community

With over 10 events across 4 weeks, seeing 600 people through the doors, we took our community’s taste buds on a trip around the globe to explore the many cuisines that make Woodlea a delicious place to live.

From all-you-can-eat pasta to crispy, golden pastries sourced from the West’s best bakeries. We had it all.

Here’s to the taste sensation that was Littlewood Pop Kitchen, wrapped up all in a bow.

Embarking on a trip to Spain

With live Spanish music adding ambience to a casual candlelit dinner, our lucky foodies embarked on a trip to Spain for one night.

We celebrated with a plate of paella, a glass of refreshing sangria, plus a cheeky dessert of churros with decadent chocolate sauce on the side.

Both our sessions sold out – filling the festive space (and our local residents’ tummies) to the brim. Altogether, making our first pop-up dining adventure a flavourful success!

For our Pasta lovers

We brought an Italian favourite to your table: Spaghetti Quattro Formaggi (pasta)! And to top it all off, we made it bottomless.

A night of fresh, all-you-can-eat pasta tossed in a massive 40 kg grana padano wheel in a four cheese blend & seasoned with flavourful herbs. Of course, we couldn’t serve up pasta without some crusty garlic bread and Italian vino to pair.

But we didn’t stop there. With more room for dessert, we had an endless array of cannoli choices. And to round off our delicious, final weekend, we served up Italian Bomboloni (Italian doughnuts) with residents sipping on their usual barista-made coffee fix.

Raising $4,000 for a neighbour in need

Serving up an epic cake display, we had over 250 residents get in on a sweet slice of the action to support our local neighbour Simone Nithsdale and her son, Brodie, as he awaits a heart transplant in hospital.

With your help, we managed to raise $2000 (which Woodlea has doubled and donated to Simone’s GoFundMe) making Littlewood truly a place for community heart and spirit.

Pop Cafe & Easter Feast Extravaganza

We kicked off an action-packed week over the school holidays by bringing together some of the West’s best bakeries to our community.

Our Pop Cafe became a one-stop shop for deliciously golden croissants and crunchy pastries, with the usual barista-made coffee pick-me-up-to-go. These tasty treats didn’t last long, with most baked goodies selling out before 11am!

And nobody can forget our crowd favourite hot cross bun tasting extravaganza and our proud little artists exploring their creative flair at our easter crafts.

That's a wrap!

From plates of paella’s, cheeky churros, all-you-can-eat pasta, epic cake displays, to the finest baked goods & community heart and spirit. We enjoyed creating this unique cultural experience, and bringing our community of 14,000 residents (and counting) together. That’s a wrap!

We hope you had the chance to get an exciting bite of all the delicious goodness at our pop kitchen experience!
