Woodlea front garden competition (Competition) is subject to the following terms and conditions: 

 Information on how to enter this competition and prize details form part of these terms and conditions of entry (Terms).

  1. The Promoter is Leakes Road Rockbank Pty Ltd ABN 93 122 773 924 of 25 Aintree Boulevard, Aintree VIC 3335.
  2. The Development is the development known as “Woodlea” situated at Aintree, Victoria 3335.
  3. By entering into Competition, the Entrant acknowledges their consent to providing their personal information to the Promoter.
  4. By participating in this competition, the Entrant acknowledges that they have read and understood these Terms and agree to be bound by them. Entries must comply with these Terms to be valid.
  5. Entry is open to residents (owner occupiers and tenants) of properties in Stages 1 – 39 of the Development:
    1. who is a resident of Australia and is 18 years of age and over;
    2. where the residents house and front landscaping complies with the estate guidelines and has a nature strip installed; and
    3. where the Entrant is a tenant, the Entrant has sought written consent from their landlord to enter into the Competition.
  6. Employees of the Promoter, as well as the employees of the Promoter’s related entities or associated businesses, contractors and any person working onsite at the Development (including builders), are ineligible to participate in Competition, nor are their immediate families.
  7. The registration period for the competition commences on Tuesday 3rd August 2021 at 9.00am AEST and closes Tuesday 31 August 2021 at 5.00pm AEST (Registration Period).
  8. To be eligible to enter the competition, each Entrant must complete and submit a registration form online by 31 August 2021. Any entries after this Registration Period will not be accepted. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
  9. The competition will run from the end of the Registration Period for 6 months, ending on Monday 28th February 2022 at 5.00pm AEST (Competition Period).
  10. All entries will be assessed on the following criteria (Assessment Criteria):
    1. well maintained garden, trees and plantings intact and thriving;
    2. grass is green and cut;
    3. nature strip is green and cut, street trees thriving;
    4. mulch is topped up where visible;
    5. no rubbish in or around the front garden;
    6. neat and tidy (no garden hoses/tools laying around front garden); and
    7. personal flair / point of difference.
  11. The Development will be split into 6 zones:
    1. Zone 1 – Stages 1 to 6;
    2. Zone 2 – Stages 7 to 12;
    3. Zone 3 – Stages 13 to 18;
    4. Zone 4 – Stages 19 to 25;
    5. Zone 5 – Stages 26 to 33; and
    6. Zone 6 – Stages 34 to 39.
  12. Each month during the Competition Period an on-site assessment of each entrant’s front garden will occur. At the end of each month the Zone that most meets the Assessment Criteria will win a community food truck chosen by the Promoter to the value of AUD$5,000 (Monthly Prize) that will be hosted in a neighbourhood park in the Development on a day and location announced by the Promoter.
  13. The Zone that wins the Monthly Prize will be announced by the Promoter on Woodlea’s Facebook page. All Entrants and Monthly Prize winners will also be notified by email.
  14. At the end of the Competition Period, all valid entries will be assessed on the Assessment Criteria. 20 entrants will be shortlisted and will be notified 2 weeks before the Grand Final Prize Draw.
  15. From the shortlist entries, a Grand Final Prize winner will be selected and will win a Visa Cash Card to the value of AUD$10,000 (Grand Final Prize).
  16. The Grand Final Prize selection will be announced in March 2022 at 12pm AESST at the Development sales office at 25 Aintree Boulevard, Aintree, Victoria 3336 (Grand Final Prize selection).
  17. All entrants will be invited by email to attend the Grand Final Prize selection. The Grand Final Prize selection will also be live streamed on Woodlea’s Facebook page.

 

  1. Additional prizes will be awarded to the remaining shortlisted entries as follows:
    1. 2nd and 3rd place: a Visa Cash Card to the value of AUD$2,500 each;
    2. 4th place: a voucher for a 2 night stay for a family of 4 to stay at Cammeray Waters, 140 Taylor Rd, Woodend VIC 3442 to the value of AUD$1,000; and
    3. Remaining shortlisted entrants: a voucher to the value of $50 voucher that is redeemable by each shortlisted entrant at Rockbank Nursery.
  2. Within 28 days after the Grand Final Prize selection, the Promoter will notify each winner in writing and will deliver the Prizes. If an entrant’s contact details change prior to the selection taking place, it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter in writing.
  3. The winners’ names will also be published on the Promoter’s website at www.woodlea.com.au for a period of 28 days commencing at 9:00am the day after the Grand Final Prize selection.
  4. Any entry selected as a winner will be deemed invalid unless, within 7 days of being notified that they have won, the winner provides any information required by the Promoter to verify the validity of their entry and their identity (in accordance with clause 27).
  5. The Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. The Prizes must be taken as stated. The Prizes cannot be sold to any other person (including by online auction or private sale). No compensation will be payable in lieu of the Prize.
  6. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from acceptance by a winner of a Prize. Entrants should seek their own independent financial advice.
  7. Winners accept a Prize at their own risk. None of the Promoter, its related entities or any of their employees, contractors and agents (or employees of their contractors and agents) will be liable for any liability, loss, damage or expense (including but not limited to direct, indirect or consequential loss or loss of profits), or death or personal injury, suffered or incurred (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) arising out of, or in connection with, this competition, the provision of a Prize, use or participation in a Prize or marketing of this competition, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
  8. Incomplete, illegible, indecipherable and late entries are invalid. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late entries or entries not received for any reason.
  9. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entries in its absolute discretion. For example, the Promoter may disqualify: (a) any entrants or entries that tamper with, or attempt to tamper with the entry process; (b) incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries or entries containing false information or incorrect contact details; (c) any entries that contain material that is obscene, indecent, objectionable, defamatory, libellous or otherwise contravenes an applicable law or infringes any third party’s rights; and (d) any entries that the Promoter considers inappropriate for any reason.
  10. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and the details provided by entrants (including without limitation an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms. The information necessary for verification is at the sole discretion of the Promoter.
  11. All entrants who are selected as winners agree to take part in publicity for this competition as reasonably requested by the Promoter, and agree to the Promoter using their name, image, likeness, character, voice or anything else that identifies them in any media worldwide (including without limitation in national print media, on the Promoter’s website and in other promotional material) for a reasonable time without remuneration to promote any of the competition, the Promoter and any of the Promoter’s products or services.
  12. Each entrant must comply with these Terms. Each entrant indemnifies and will keep indemnified the Promoter in relation to all loss and damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) by the Promoter as a direct or indirect result of the entrant acting inconsistently with or breaching any part of these Terms.
  13. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone or network or lines, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on a mobile network, or any combination of these, or any other technical failures related to, or resulting from, participation in this competition. Illegible and/or incomplete Registration forms will not be accepted.
  14. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including as a result of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, safety or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to any applicable legislation.
  15. The Promoter’s decision on all aspects relating to this competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
  16. The Promoter, may at its discretion, extend the Registration Period or the Competition Period by publishing a notice on the Promoter’s Website with the dates of the extended competition period. These terms and conditions apply to any extended competition period.
  17. The Entrant acknowledges that it provides certain information to the Promoter to be used by the Promoter for future promotional purposes. Individual’s personal information cannot be disclosed without the individual’s consent.  Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy which can be viewed online at https://woodlea.com.au/privacy-policy.
  18. The Promoter reserves the right to exercise its absolute discretion in excluding Registrations that it considers to be contrary to law.
  19. The Competition is governed by the laws of the state of Victoria, Australia.
