Latest Community Update

All  stages continue to progress swiftly as we near the middle of the year. Please refer below for the expected settlement date for your stage.

Your neighbourhood park in Central Quarter has come to life!

Positioned in the heart of Central Quarter, our first neighbourhood park is complete and will be ready for the community to enjoy in Spring. Paying respect to its history, the park will include bluestone paving, native grasslands and heritage signage, inviting the community to reflect, learn and share in this important natural and cultural landscape.   • Phase 1: Civil Construction

    Construction of the public roads, footpaths and services (i.e. water, gas, electrical, telecommunications, drainage and sewer) into your home.

  • Phase 2: Building Permit Stage

    Involves issuing all relevant construction documentation to the building surveyor to obtain a building permit. The building permit certifies that a proposed building complies with the relevant building regulations.

  • Phase 3: Base Stage

    Constructing the floor of the home. This involves pouring the concrete slab floor of the home.

  • Phase 4: Frame Stage

    Construction of the timber frame of the home, which at completion is approved by a building surveyor.

  • Phase 5: Lock-Up Stage

    This is when the home’s external cladding and roof covering is fixed, the flooring is laid and external doors and external windows are fixed.

  • Phase 6: Fixing Stage

    This is when all internal cladding, architraves, skirting, doors, built-in shelves, baths, sinks, troughs and cupboards of a home are fitted and fixed in position.

  • Phase 7: Landscaping Stage

    This is when all the external planting, fencing and paving is completed.

  • Phase 8: Occupancy Permit

    This is when the building surveyor inspects the property at completion and confirms they are satisfied the building is suitable for occupation.

  • Phase 9: Settlement

    Once the Occupancy Permit is issued and Woodlea representatives have inspected your home, your legal representative will be given notice of settlement within 14 days. Your Woodlea Settlement Executive will contact you to organise a Home Presentation prior to settlement.
