Flavour Fest 2024

25 vendors, 7 zones, 5 live bands, 4 carnival rides, and one thriving community.

Flavour Fest 2024

In proud partnership with City of Melton, Flavour Fest brought people together within the Woodlea community and surrounding areas to celebrate the love of food, music, culture and art. From captivating musical acts to spectacular carnival rides, delicious treats and everything in between – there wasn’t a dull moment at this year’s event!

The return of the best fest in the West

Featuring a selection of Melbourne’s tastiest food trucks, best brews and Australia’s homegrown musicians, we’re still buzzing with excitement from the incredible turnout and electric atmosphere. Our community treated themselves to tasty bites, kid’s activities, carnival rides and plenty more with the night topped off by an epic firework finale under the stars. A massive shoutout to our amazing vendors, talented performers, and dedicated community volunteers who helped make Flavour Fest a huge success.

Stellar Aussie Line-up

Aussie talents D’Arcy Spiller, Mitch Santiago, Kitschen Boy, and the amazing Steph Strings killed it on stage, with an electrifying performance from the Pierce Brothers ending the night on a high note.

On the food front

This one is for the books! Bao Melbourne’s Taiwanese bao buns were a clear crowd-pleaser, La Mano tacos delivered on unbeatable Hispanic staples. Let’s give a toast to The Real Jerk Food truck and Big Boy BBQ…slow-cooked. juicy. irresistible. tender. That’s all we need to say.

And to satisfy our sweet tooth, we had a dedicated dessert zone! St Gerry’s lived up to their title of Greek doughnut masters, along with icecream from Zero Gradi, Crepes for Change, Indian-fusion desserts and more.

The Beer Garden (and other worldy delights)

For the beer, wine and seltzer-obsessed, our biggest beverage bar had a teeming collection of local boutique brewers, plus refillable wines and sustainable seltzers, courtesy of Brick Lane Brewing, ReWine, Wonki & The Prossecco Van.

Paired with decadent raclette-fondue-cheese to celebrate under the most gorgeous golden hour imaginable – we don’t think we could’ve asked for anything more perfect.

True Community

Families found plenty of fun at the ‘Play Zone’, with a sustainability-focused immersive art experience by the Slow Art Collective, plus roving artists and plenty of other creative workshop activities.

Other featured zones included ‘Wellness by Woodlea’, where guests could unwind with activities that encouraged mindfulness and feel-good vibes. Plus, our ‘Community Zone’ had a range of local-led activations.

Designed as a fun-filled day for the whole family, we enjoyed a kaleidoscope of carnival rides including a giant sky flyer, dodgem cars, and tea cup rides – adding extra magic!
