Simone's Story As one of the earliest residents of Woodlea, Simone began working at the Woodlea pharmacy in 2019 and rallied behind our community during COVID-19. Simone was selflessly devoted to spreading awareness about COVID-safe practices during this time, and kept the community constantly updated with news about restocks of common medical supplies that were in short supply. However, after recently giving birth to her beautiful son Brodie, Simone and her family are facing their own struggles. Brodie has remained in the Royal Children’s Hospital since November, where he currently awaits a heart transplant.
How you can help Come down on Saturday for our Biggest Morning Tea, where all proceeds will be donated to Brodie’s GoFundMe page. This page has been set up to help the family spend more time with Brodie, and pay for the associated costs that come with living at the hospital full-time. If you would like to donate directly, visit Simone’s GoFundMe Page
