The festive season is upon us

Jump on board Santa’s sleigh

Come down to Woodlea Town to get a selfie in Santa’s sleigh! Santa’s sleigh will be stopping by from Saturday November 11 until Saturday December 25.

Christmas Lights

We can’t wait to see our streetscapes lit up once again with beautiful Christmas lights as We Love Aintree’s annual Christmas lights competition returns!  Judging will take place on Thursday 16 December with plenty of great prizes up for grabs. Follow the event HERE to find out entry dates & other important information.

Santa’s coming to W town

Santa and his elves will be visiting W town on Saturday 11 & 18 December for a meet and greet with our Woodlea community!  Follow @woodlea.town on socials to find out more & stay in the loop.

Community Trolley Challenge

As we get into the festive season we’re also looking forward to supporting those in need. We are hosting a Charity Trolley Challenge, whereby W Town will be partnering with the Combined Churches Caring Melton.

The challenge will be held on Saturday December 11 from 10am to 1pm. We’re inviting our community to donate food and groceries for families in need this Christmas.

Virtual Carols by candlelight

Deck the halls and hold all calls: the City of Melton will be hosting a virtual Carols by Candlelight, live streamed direct to your homes from 7pm, Thursday 16 December.

MC Brodie Young, the full live orchestra and an amazing array of professional singers will all be on hand to get you in the Christmas spirit, and we’ve heard that Santa will even find time in his busy schedule to make a welcome appearance. Santa’s touring Woodlea

21 December

Santa will also be arriving on horseback on Tuesday December 21 from 4pm to help bring the Christmas spirit. Stay in the loop via the official event page here and view the map here to see where Santa will be traveling.
