Woodlea Coronavirus update

We are actively monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and are following guidelines to help combat the spread of the virus. This page will be updated regularly with the latest advice and guidance.

We are open online with our Woodlea Hub closed

On Sunday 2nd August the Victorian Premier, Daniel Andrews, announced stage four lockdown measures for metro Melbourne and the Mitchell Shire in a bid to slow the spread of COVID-19.

We remain open online with our team working from home, however our Woodlea hub will be closed. This will come into effect immediately and remain in place until further notice.

Our dedicated team of Woodlea experts are here to answer any questions you may have & guide you through your new home building journey.

You can book your online appointment with a team member who are available between 10am – 5pm daily, and offering after work online appointments where requested.

Changes to the construction industry

Woodlea prides itself on our ability to deliver and we assure you that we will do everything we can to minimise the impact on delivery dates however there will be some impacts while construction activity is reduced until, at least, 28 September 2020.

Under the current working conditions, the construction of subdivisions will not be impacted. With stages 41-45 (including Taylors Road extension to Caroline Springs) currently underway, and spanning across approximately 15 hectares, this scale of work falls under the category of ‘large construction’ allowing adequate workers to deliver on time.

The construction of most Townhouses will be impacted due to the restriction of one worker per four square metre rule. We are working with our builder partners to reduce these delays as best as possible, however we recommend reaching out to your builder for an accurate update on your specific stage.

The Woodlea Town Centre has had its workforce reduced under the Stage 4 COVID-19 restrictions. Due to these unforeseen delays, the Town Centre has a new opening date of March 2021. We are working extremely hard behind the scenes to build a facility that is full of heart & soul for all of our residents & we’re excited to share some super exciting news with you over the coming months.
