A note from Alice

What you will need (shopping list)!

Hot cross buns (1-2 buns per person)

Some sort of cream-based element, like: 🍨

  • Yoghurt
  • Cream (thickened, pure, or double will all work)
  • Cottage cheese or quark
  • Coconut yoghurt
  • Ice-cream

Some sort of fruit element: 🍓

  • Rhubarb, berries (strawberries would be especially good), apple, pears, oranges etc.

Optional: 🍫

  • Chocolate (I love dark chocolate)
  • Candied orange zest
  • Cocoa
  • Cinnamon
  • Icing sugar
  • Mint or basil
  • Maple syrup

The loaded hot cross bun is a play on the pancake stack – it’s fun and festive and uses what you’ve already got around the house!

See you Sunday,
Alice x 🐰🐣
