Thank you for your interest in Woodlea.
Woodlea is excited to announce that our very first blocks have now settled with a total of 87 purchasers settling on their land last month, after having purchased blocks in our first public ballot release in March.
This signals amazing news for our very first purchasers who were lucky enough to secure their dream block in the lottery style ballot land release event, and can now commence building their brand new Woodlea homes.
Stage 2, which includes the Arbourton Release 1, was a thriving sales success with all blocks selling out on the day of release. This sales momentum has shown no signs of slowing with Stages 1 to 11 sold out and Woodlea recently being named the fastest selling estate in Melbourne.
One of our early-bird purchasers, Alex Talevski, said he can’t wait to move into his new Woodlea home next year with his partner and 4 children.
Alex, who works as a building site foreman, is planning to owner-build his new home at Woodlea, with his family upsizing from a three bedroom home in Caroline Springs to a brand new five bedroom, single-storey home.
“We couldn’t be happier about our decision to buy at Woodlea – we are eagerly awaiting to move in once our home is completed,” he said.
“As soon as we found out about Woodlea we felt a really positive energy about it and their marketing really won us over.
“Woodlea was really flexibile about us building our own home and we were very satisfied with how smooth and easy the settlement was.
“We can’t wait to embrace the Woodlea lifestyle and raise our children in a fantastic environment.
“The area has an excellent growth factor and the planned education amenities nearby are a big plus for our kids.
“The Woodlea team have been more than helpful every step of the way, and it’s great to see that lots are being snapped up by several young families,” he said.
Woodlea has just been announced in the most recent National Land Survey Program (NLSP) as the fastest-selling community in Melbourne and the second fastest selling new residential project in Australia which shows just how popular our community is tracking with buyers.
Bernadette loves taking her four kids to the wonderful Woodlea parks and therefore it is appropriate that we spoke to her in the Stage 1 park. Hers is a mixed-nationality household and their favourite family culinary experience reflects her husband’s Filipino culture. Banana leafs for plates and fingers, not forks has their kids in messy food heaven! Link to full bio here: http://bit.ly/facesofwoodlea #facesofwoodlea #knowyourcommunity
Petr is from Vladivostok Russia and is married to Laetitia, who was born in Belgium. They live in Woodlea with their two young daughters, who by their parents definition reflect both Eastern and Western culture. Petr tells us of a Russian tradition that is handed down from generation to generation when moving into a new house. With so many doing just that at Woodlea, we recommend new residents watching Petr tell us about the Russian symbolic cat “house keeper”, that watches over the new residence and helps to maintain household happiness. Raj and Melody went all out to wear clothing that denotes their cultural heritage, from Mumbai India. Their Indian experience is of a glorious and multi-tiered society, where food culture is king. Raj and Melody have helped build our understanding of traditional festivals and celebrations that are important to their original community, that now cut across religious and cultural divisions. Emmanuel “Manny” was born in Malta and came to Australia as a child in the post-war migrant intake of 1954. He tells of an era of simplicity and joy amongst the challenges of life in a new land. Woodlea recognizes that a balanced community has representation across the ages and Manny shows us that living in a new community with many young families helps to keep a spring in one’s step. Introducing Gustavo: Gustavao (“Gus”) and his young family are a mix of Latin European and Latin American blood, and from his account of their lives at home they have found a wonderful blend. Gus is from El Salvador and his wife is from Italy. A Latin home would not be complete without a love of joyous, uplifting music and wonderful food, designed to share with neighbours, friends and family. Introducing Chris - one of the very first Woodlea residents, with a passion for engagement with those around him and the Woodlea community in general. Chris was selected as being representative of “traditional” Australian caucasian background, but learning of his Maltese descent reminded us that it is only the indigenous Australians who aren’t derived from somewhere else!
