Our community has come to life with so many new new residents moving in each week, transforming Woodlea into a community in action. With so much already on the ground including a beautiful 37 home display village, first neighbourhood park and inner-melbourne style cafe, it is time to look forward to the next phase of the project which includes the Stage 4, and 7 park as well as our active open space due for completion early 2017.
CONSTRUCTION AND TITLE UPDATES
Stage 1 (Display Village) - Stage 6 - Titles registered
Stage 7 - Expected titles July 17
Stage 7 is located east of Stage 6 and includes a neighbourhood park. The Plan of Subdivision has been lodged at the Titles Office and is now awaiting registration.
Stage 8 - Expected titles July 17
Stage 8 is located west of Stage 6 between the Display Village and the Stage 4 Park. Statement of Compliance has been issued and the plan will be lodged at the Titles Office.
Stage 9 - Expected titles August 16
Stage 9 is located south of the Active Open Space precinct and east of the Stage 7 Park. Construction commenced in January 2016. Asphalt and topsoiling works are complete and consent to register the titles is currently being procured from utility authorities and Council.
Stage 10 - Expected titles September 16
Stage 10 is located south of the Active Open Space precinct. Works commenced late January 2016. Asphalt and topsoiling works have commenced and consent to register the titles will be procured from utility authorities and Council shortly.
Stage 11 - Expected titles Expected titles December 16
Stage 11 is located south of the planned Bacchus Marsh Grammar Primary School and includes a neighbourhood park. Bulk earthworks, sewer and drainage reticulation are close to complete. Water and gas reticulation is underway along with road pavement preparatory works.
Stage 12 - Expected titles December 16
Stage 12 is located south of the future town centre precinct and adjacent to the Deanside Wetlands conservation area. Bulk earthworks and drainage reticulation is complete. Sewer, water and gas reticulation works are underway.
Stage 13 - Expected titles January 17
Stage 13 is located south of stage 12 and adjacent to the Deanside Wetlands conservation area. Stripping and bulk earthworks are complete. Sewer and drainage reticulation works will commence shortly.
Stage 14 - Expected titles February 17
Stage 14 is located south of stage 13 and adjacent to the Deanside Wetlands conservation area. Construction will commence mid-June.
Stage 15 - Expected titles March 17
Stage 15 is located south of the display village, which includes the old Woodlea sales office. Construction commenced in mid-May with stripping and bulk earthworks nearing completion.
Stage 16 - Expected titles May 17
Stage 16 is located north of the Active Open Space precinct. Construction is expected to commence in June 2016.
Stage 17 - Expected titles June 17
Stage 17 is located north of the display village. Construction is expected to commence in July 2016.
Stage 18 - Expected titles July 17
Stage 18 abuts Stage 17 to the west, and both Stages 5 and 16 to the south. Construction is expected to commence in August 2016.
Stage 19 - Expected titles July 17
Stage 19 will abut Stage 18 to the west and Stage 16 to the north. Construction is expected to commence in September 2016.
Active Open Space
Civil earthworks are progressing in stage 1 of the Active Open Space sports facility comprising 1 AFL Oval, adventure playground, youth space, pavilion and car parking with completion anticipated in the 1st quarter of 2017. Construction of Stage 2 of the Active Open Space, comprising a second AFL oval and 10 tennis courts will soon commence with expected completion in the 4th quarter of 2017.

A FREE trial shuttle service has launched at Woodlea, offering pick up and drop off services for residents to and from Rockbank train station Monday - Friday for the peak hour train service. A special thanks to Cr. Bob Turner, City of Melton Mayor who came down to launch the first service, and the dedicated Caroline Springs RSL members who are volunteering to bring this iniative to life! We were delighted to welcome 10 local scouts to Woodlea, who met with our Community Development Manager to learn about neighbourhood ownership and the role young people play in community engagement, urban design and citizenship. Coupled with a one hour of service/volunteering they completed several award requirements of their badgework!
