Thank you for your interest in Woodlea.
Brought to you by popular demand: Friday morning playgroup!
This parent-run initiative has been organised for the local neighbourhood (which commenced at the start of June) and has been a massive hit. “It’s great to see parents and carers chatting over coffee and getting to know one another while their kids play” said Katie Ingram, who is the Aintree Playground Co-Ordinator.
This fun and relaxed meet up is suitable for little ones of all ages (ranging from new born – kinder) and there are many fun things to keep them entertained, just to name a few:
- Play dough
- Group singing and dancing
- Arts and crafts
- Fine motor skill play
- Building activities
- Creative play toys
- Book corner
If you would like to be a part of this great social initiative (or have any queries), head on down to The Hub (above Go-West café) with your best singing voice!
WHO: Parents/Guardians and children of all ages
WHEN: 10am every Friday (during the school term)
